Here is a particular discussion and answers..
This is about the typical question asked by the usual fembots totally ignorant of fact and wallowing in their fiction..
The fascinating thing is that the anti-feminist responses exceed the "feminist" lacky response and the other thing is that just as many women are involved as well..
It gladdens the heart..
Why do so many anti-feminists ignore all the injustice against women in the world?
*sigh* Okay so I thought I would start the day with this...lol
For the record I have never met any person in real life who is an anti-feminist. This is mainly for you Yahoo answerers :]
Why is it that any time someone bbrings up a valid point about the way women throughout the world are treated by men on a daily basis and patriarchy, anti-feminists show no compassion what so ever. Now, I usually just laugh it off and chalk it up to ignorance but no it goes deeper than that. When we talk about women being abused, raped, or degraded they don't even mention anything about it in their answers,I have noticed. They will just answer with the cliche "What about all of the misandry?" They have no concern for these women at all. I guess for me it's frustrating because I am a feminist and I volunteer at a battered women's shelter and a center for women who are raped and abused. I would just be crushed if some crazy as* Yahoo answerer came in there screaming in their faces some of the things I hear on this website: "You brought it on yourself!" "What did you do to the MEN to deserve this?!" "Women do just as much stuff to men so it's no big deal - Where's the men's center, huh?!"
It's like where do people come from and how are you raised that because there might be issues with men, you ignore the fact that women are overwhelmingly the victims of abuse. There is no debate here. Anyone who suggests that women have not been the ones who have to fight for their rights or that women are the ones who are abused and raped WAY more often is a very sad person. I just have a hard time accepting that people are so callous. Not to mention when women are antifeminists...it's like a black person running a minstrel show in the 1920s. Sad and heartbreaking.
Is it that they have to ignore all the evidence proving that women are more often the victims than men are or is it that they just don't care?
Responses..
Feminists have a left leaning liberal political agenda...has very little to do with women's rights.......remember how they ridiculed the women Clinton abused and where were they when SNL insinuated that Bristol Palin was pregnant by her father?
Gotta be liberal to be a feminist........I would think that they would be 100% behind a war that seeks to destroy a force that beheads women in soccer stadiums because they did not wear the correct clothes...they are liars.
y r women still talking about how women hav it so bad. there is plenty more man on man violence then man on woman violence. women hav just as much oppurtunity as men nowadays and in some circumstances more, due to gender quota. i am not ignoring the violence, it is there, but look at it as a whole.
Anti-feminists don't ignore injustice against anyone. They just want ALL injustices to be addressed and not just the injustices that some women experience. For example it's a fact that children experience abuse from women more often than from men. It's just as important to address that as it is to address men's violence against women. Even so I don't think it's helpful to make a child abuse campaign into a campaign against women. I think we'll make progress when we can all work together on abuse issues and resist the temptation to elevate the victimhood experienced by some people above others.
Why do so many feminists ignore all the injustice against women in the world?
Men don't typically have centers because they are not so quick to label every little thing as abuse. An argument happens, voices get raised, and they shrug it off and chalk it up to "experience" or "a bad day"... they don't call it "verbal and emotional abuse" and have every one jumping out of the woodwork to help them liberate themselves..
All in all,, I think that men do care when a woman is abused, but the bar for abuse has been allowed to be set so low, that almost everything can be classified as abuse now. The hardening of the heart is a knee-jerk reaction. I am a woman, and I have it myself.

an equalist, not an anti-feminist
And what have feminists done in the other parts of the world? They have done little for anyone but white american women. MRA's don't deny the horrible things that were done and are being done to women elsewhere in the world, they simply try to make it known that men don't have it much better.
Overwhelmingly the victim of abuse? I don't think so, please provide examples besides the middle east. Women are usually rape victims, but men have much much higher murder rates? Would you like to trade? What about higher jail sentences for men in the us? Even for the same crime and criminal history? How callous are you to ignore that blatant sexism?
Anyways, you are a typical feminist. All you care about is how it affects women, and refuse to see that men don't have it much better.
I think it's because in the two....nearly 3 now....years I've been here, I have hardly seen any questions from feminists addressing the violence and oppression faced by so many men in the world. When it comes to men's issues and male victimhood, feminists are largely silent. I guess these anti-feminists have noticed the same thing and are even more tired of it than I am. Yes, there are women who are suffering horribly out there. Yes, there is a lot of injustice. But guess what? Men are too! Why do women get compassion and aid from the feminist camp, but men get left out in the cold? Why can't you try to help BOTH at the same time?
"Anyone who suggests that women have not been the ones who have to fight for their rights or that women are the ones who are abused and raped WAY more often is a very sad person."
I suggest you pick up a real history book, not one from a women's studies course, and get reacquainted with the way things were. Men, historically, didn't have a ton of rights either. In many countries, the men with rights were those with wealth or nobility, while the common men were abused and enslaved and had little to no rights to speak of. Men have had to fight for their rights too. Do you think history is some big Boys' Club, where all men everywhere could vote, get an education, do as they pleased....? I hope not.
