Cow-towing to the female wish as Valentine's Day draws near..
( I want you to send me cards, flowers so I can brag to my workmates on how much of a nag I am, want diamonds, want a restaurant date, demand special attention)..
How about all you guys wait for the female to organize, purchase presents, dress up just to surprise you for a change..
Will you live that long ?
Then again, it could be a long night before the privileged princesses ever head in that direction. It's all about them, dontchano..
Marc Rudov Leads Fourth Annual Valentine's Day Boycott
Globally Known Author & Radio/TV Personality Available for Media Appearances
LOS GATOS, CA--(Marketwire - January 12, 2010) - Marc H. Rudov, globally known author, relationship coach, speaker, and radio/TV personality, announces today his availability for media appearances to discuss and promote his fourth annual boycott of Valentine's Day. Details about this boycott are at http://thenononsenseman.com/femme-fi...alentines-day/.
Says Mr. Rudov: "Valentine's Day is the most unromantic day of the year. True romance is spontaneous, unexpected, voluntary, and mutual -- all nonexistent on Valentine's Day. Advertisers treat men like spineless eunuchs, exhorting them to buy women teddy bears, pajamas, flowers, and diamonds -- or sleep on the couch. Meanwhile, our hypocritical society doesn't pressure women to indulge men -- on February 14th or ever. Do men fight back? No. They drink beer, watch football, sulk, and live in fear of their wives and girlfriends. So, I urge all real men to reject this nonsense and, instead, join my boycott of Valentine's Day."

This just sounds to me like Mr. Rudov has yet to hear about the wonders of "Steak and BJ day".
I say if a woman is willing to celebrate that holiday, I'll gladly buy her some flowers and candy on Valentine's day no problem.
However, if no reciprocity is forthcoming, tough shit for her.
