The end result ofcourse is Jessica Valenti. As a result of her work, Valenti was invited in 2006 to meet former President Bill Clinton, one of several bloggers invited to have lunch with him. Valenti was criticized afterwards by law professor Ann Althouse, who wrote in her blog that Valenti had stood in front of Clinton in a group photograph after the lunch, in a "three-quarter pose" that Althouse saw as posturing. She wrote that the pose irked her, as a feminist. Althouse was in turn criticized in Salon by Tracy Clark-Flory for having reduced Valenti to her appearance and sexuality.

It would appear that she cannot get anything right. Hated and mistrusted by her own feminasty hegemony members and totally and utterly loathed by any man who has not succumb to the brainwashing that she and people like her have allowed and exposed themselves to..

Female Crime Registry: At last, Holding Women Accountable..

At last, a site that will destroy the feminists ongoing and lying claim that "women are blameless, morally superior, not violent, never lie about RAPE, blameless where children are concerned, are not bigots", yeah right..

Police allege Swogger "asked or encouraged" two 15-year-old runaway girls to have sex with her. According to a police papers, Swogger admitted to having sex with a 17-year-old boy and asked police, "How serious is that?" The one-time exotic dancer resigned Feb. 25, 2008. Swogger accepted a 3- to-6-year jail term that included a 36-year probation on May 26, 2009. "I'm sorry I was not the role model I should have been. I'm really sorry," she told the judge.

Abigail Holloway, 33: The former gym teacher at the Christian prep school, Kings Academy, in Sunnyvale, Calif., was arrested March 5, 2009, at St. Mary's Academy in Englewood, Colorado, where she was working, on charges stemming from an alleged sexual relationship with a female student lasting from 2001 to 2005. The girl, now a student at Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., told a school counselor about the relationship that had occurred in California beginning when she was 13. During that time, according to the girl, she and Holloway were intimate "over 100 times." "We have a very special relationship. It is a gift from God," states an alleged e-mail from Holloway to the girl in March 2003. "Not many people are going to understand that, but we know in our hearts that God made us for each other!" Holloway is fighting extradition.

Adia Schomburg, 44: Kindergarten teacher at Memorial Elementary School in Arcadia, Florida has been arrested and accused of molesting a 4 year old girl. Schomburg was charged with one count of sexual battery and one count of lewd and lascivious molestation after the alleged victim told investigators Schomburg was mean and touched her inappropriately. Allegedly Schomburg touched the girl 4 times, once as recently as June 20th 2008. Schomburg says she is innocent and has been released on bond, however suspended from the school system.

Adrianne Hockett: Accused of having sex with a 16-year-old special-needs student in a Houston apartment she rented for the get-togethers. The boy has testified the pair would "have sex, drink beer and smoke weed."

Adrienne Laflamme, 60: Science teacher at the Brevard County Juvenile Detention Center in Cocoa, Fla., was arrested June 25, 2008, for having a four-week heated affair with an inmate student, 17, within days of his release. The boy's mother said the teacher regularly picked him up from their home to have sex at her own residence. Laflamme had sex with the student at least 15 times, including one threesome with a 14-year-old boy. She has been charged with 15 counts of unlawful sex with minors and one count of filing a false police report.

Alison Mosbeck, 33: History teacher at Dueitt Middle School in the Spring, Texas, school district was arrested Oct. 26, 2007, for allegedly having intercourse at least three times with one of her students, a 14-year-old boy. The mother of one of the students' friends saw text messages from Mosbeck on the student's cellphone and alerted authorities.

Alison Peck, 23: Former teacher at Greenfield High School in Greenfield, Mo., was charged May 22, 2009, in Green County with statuatory rape after convincing two friends to help her spend a night at a motel in Springfield with a 16-year-old boy who used to be her student. Peck had already been charged in Dade County on May 14 with having sexual relations with the boy at a park in that county sometime between January and March. On the day after receiving that citation, she arranged with friends to meet the boy at the Springfield motel. On May 17, she was charged with statuatory sodomy and statuatory rape because the boy told the detective that he had liaisons with Peck at her home in Mount Vernon. Judges have set bonds of $2,500 in Dade County, $10,000 in Lawrence County, and $200,000 in Greene County and Leo has been issued a no-contact order, told to stay 1,000 feet away from the boy's home and school and to surrender her passport.

Allenna Ward, 24: Minister's daughter from Laurens County, S.C., was a second-year teacher at Bell Street Middle School in Clinton, S.C., when she was fired Feb. 28, 2007, for allegedly having sex with at least five boys. Some of the purported victims, ages 14 and 15, were students at Ward's school. Authorities say the married woman had sex with the boys not only on campus, but also at a motel, in a park and behind a restaurant. On Sept. 6, 2007, Ward pleaded guilty to six charges - three second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and three lewd acts on a minor. "Today, I publicly admit my guilt and would like to apologize. I sincerely apologize for the effects of my actions," she told the court. On Feb. 19, 2008, she was sentenced to six years in prison.

Allison Dean, 30: Allison Dean, 30 year old former Oral Communications and English teacher at Magnolia Junior High School, in Magnolia, Arkansas has turned herself in after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15 year old male student. Dean was charged with 8 counts of sexual assault. Dean is accused of having sex with the boy for a period of at least 8 months, as well as giving the boy drugs. Dean maintains her innocence, and did not make a statement when she turned herself in. The boys mother found text messages on the boys phone that indicated drug use, and when calling the number, the other party refused to identify themselves. The boy later admitted that the two had been having sex, and smoking marijuana together. Dean was released on $25,000 bond. Dean is the second Teacher at the school recently accused of having sex with her students

Amanda Louise Thompson, 28: Australian high school teacher accused of befriending a 14-year-old student upon learning the girl suffered from an eating disorder, then engaging the girl in a three-year lesbian relationship. On Oct. 27, 2008, prosecutors accused Thompson of meeting the girl at parks to engage in sex acts and abusing the student with everyday items such as a lollipop and a necklace. She reportedly showered the girl with gifts and notes, but the student's parents grew suspicious when during sleepovers at the girl's house, Thompson would refuse to keep the door to the girl's bedroom open.

Amanda Athey, 27: Charged Aug. 8, 2007, in Huntersville, N.C. with three counts of indecent liberties with a female student and one count of sexual activity with a female student. The relationship came to light when the girl's father became suspicious of the Hopewell High School English teacher's friendship with his daughter. She had told the father she was married to a man named Cal but after her arrest, it came to light she lived with another woman named Callie.

Amber Jennings, 31: Though Jennings was initially charged with having sex with a 16-year-old, the counts against the Sturbridge, Mass., woman were reduced to a single charge of disseminating harmful materials to a minor. She reportedly admitted e-mailing naked photos of herself to a former student. She received no jail time, only two years of probation after pleading guilty in September 2005.

Amber Marshall, 23: Northwest Indiana woman allegedly had sexual contact, including intercourse, with several students at Hebron High School, and turned herself into authorities, telling police she knew what she did was illegal.

Amanda Marcotte Is Not Evil

Word has been getting around since Pro-Male/Anti-Feminist Tech broke the news of Amanda Marcotte's latest gaffe yesterday. A number of bloggers have referred to her as 'evil'. PMAFT originally referred to her quote as "pure feminist evil," a phrase repeated by the American Power blog, while The Other McCain has gone a step further and referred to her as "the Beast of Babylon," quoting Revelation as if to imply she is some kind of demon, and suggesting that she may be "deliberately and consciously evil" (emphasis in the original).

Since, by chance, I had only just written up some preliminary thoughts on the subject of evil, I thought I'd weigh in here.

Amanda Marcotte is not evil, she's just misguided and goofy.

She's the kinda gal who grew up making awkward, silence-inducing remarks at the dinner table while the adults were trying to talk.

And she never grew out of it.

Evil? The devil is evil. The Holocaust was evil. Slavery is evil.

Some goof making insensitive comments on some other goof's blog is not an act of evil.

No, Amanda Marcotte is flawed, just like everyone else. Her flaws may be more cringe-inducing than most, but that doesn't make her evil.

What I offer, as an alternative theory, is our good old friend The Rationalisation Hamster.

Amanda Marcotte has spent her grown-up life as a feminist. She is very much invested in feminism. She thinks feminism is all good stuff and anything that's against feminism is all bad stuff.

So when something happens that might threaten her rose-tinted view of feminism, she rationalises it away.

E.g., feminism sometimes manifests as a moral crusade against rape. As a feminist, Amanda Marcotte is a moral crusader against rape. This is a very important aspect of who she is. Being a moral crusader against rape requires one to believe that rape is rampant; a crime of epidemic proportions.

So when the evidence starts mounting that a not insignificant number of rape accusations are entirely false, and often maliciously made, a dilemma occurs.

If a substantial number of rape accusations are false, then one's status as a moral crusader against rape may be called into question. It is even possible that other moral crusaders, who have had the opportunity to shape law and public opinion in the area of rape, have actually unwittingly assisted those false accusers in doing great harm to innocent people.

Furthermore, if the folks who are talking about the prevalence of false accusations keep on talking about the prevalence of false accusations, then even more folks might learn about how prevalent false accusations are, and then lots of people might ask questions about one's status as a moral crusader against rape.

And then would come the worst part of all, guaranteed to cause mental anguish: one may be forced to accept that one has played a role in causing harm to innocent people.

All right, hamster - do your work!

Squeak, squeak! Okay. Everything is okay. The problem has been rationalised away. It turns out that the people who are talking about the prevalence of false accusations are, in fact, rapists themselves. Therefore they are part of the problem which must be crusaded against. There isn't any evidence of this, but it must be the case.

Let's take another scenario. What if you have led a cyber-lynch mob against a group of men accused of rape? You don't have any evidence that they're guilty, of course, but you know that they are anyway. What happens when the verdict returns and the accused turn out to be not guilty? The mental anguish - not to mention the embarassment - would be too much to bear.

Go, hamster, go!

Squeak! Squeak, squeak squeak!

I had to listen to how the poor dear lacrosse players at Duke are being persecuted just because they held someone down and fucked her against her will—not rape, of course, because the charges have been thrown out. Can’t a few white boys sexually assault a black woman anymore without people getting all wound up about it? So unfair.

And all is right with the world again.

Let's take one last example. What if those wonderful, pro-woman reforms that your movement made to family courts all across the land have led to some unforeseen results? What if it is now strongly suggested that the courts are as anti-male as they are pro-female? What if somebody actually becomes so desperate at his situation that he sees no other way out than burning himself to death in protest?

It looks bad - it looks very bad. How could your mind cope under the stress of thinking that maybe your movement is responsible for such a terrible tragedy as this?

Squeak!

Yes. That will do. The guy who burned himself to death was not a desperate victim at all, but an abuser. And he was still abusing his wife right up to the point that he melted into the concrete. Therefore, it's permissible to feel absolutely no sympathy for the guy whatsoever, and to deny that there is anything wrong with the family court system.

There is no use in trying to convince somebody who is ideologically committed. Logical argument is no match for the exertions of that little hamster running around inside their brains. Indeed, Amanda Marcotte is sticking by her comment, apparently claiming now that men kill themselves in order to hurt women - rationalising away the much higher male suicide rate, perhaps?

The equivalent argument, I suppose, would be that women wear skimpy outfits deliberately so that they will be raped, just so that they can make some poor guy's life a living hell by getting him sent to prison for rape. But I'm sure that hamster can run on for a long, long time, and that even this kind of double standard can be rationalised away.

So, there you have it. While many outcomes of feminism can properly be termed evil, Amanda Marcotte isn't evil. She is not defending feminism so much as she is defending her own mental health, by flat-out refusing to acknowledge that the movement she has thrown herself into is directly responsible for enormous suffering. She is unwilling, on a deep and possibly subconscious level, to see reality for what it is. To do so would be too painful.

In a way, she is far worse off than Thomas James Ball, who, despite his desperate situation, had attained great insight into the real workings of society - the "second set of books" - before his tragic end.

Recognition is what Valenti has always yearned for as one of the main stayers of that hate movement which she so consistently and erroneously justified and promoted as being some alternative to sanity and truth..

 The NYT, run predominantly by women is a great example on how to run any business into the ground by espousing the drivel that feminists promote as well as promoting the liberal hogwash they consistently "feel" they should exaggerate about..

Feminist Sentenced to Life for Genocide, Crimes Against Humanity

Pauline Nyiramasuhuko, a prominent Rwandan Hutu and former minister of family affairs and women’s advancement, has been sentenced to life in prison by an international tribunal for a variety of heinous crimes, including mass rape, war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide.
According to a 2002 article originally published in the NY Times, Nyiramasuhuko followed a fairly standard feminist routine before become a mass-murderer:

Before becoming Rwanda’s chief official for women’s affairs, Pauline was a social worker, roaming the countryside, offering lectures on female empowerment and instruction on child care and AIDS prevention. Her days as minister were similarly devoted to improving the lives of women and children. But at the stadium, a 30-year-old farmer named Foster Mivumbi told me, Pauline assumed a different responsibility. Mivumbi, who has confessed to taking part in the slaughter, told me that Pauline goaded the Interahamwe, commanding, ”Before you kill the women, you need to rape them.”

But Pauline’s role went beyond mere encouragement:

Tutsi women were then selected from the stadium crowd and dragged away to a forested area to be raped, Mivumbi recalled. Back at the stadium, he told me, Pauline waved her arms and then observed in silence as Interahamwe rained machine-gun fire and hand grenades down upon the remaining refugees. The Hutus finished off survivors with machetes. It took about an hour, ending at noon. Pauline stayed on, Mivumbi told me, until a bulldozer began piling bodies for burial in a nearby pit. (When questioned about this incident, Pauline’s lawyers denied that she took part in atrocities in Butare.)
Shortly afterward, according to another witness, Pauline arrived at a compound where a group of Interahamwe was guarding 70 Tutsi women and girls. One Interahamwe, a young man named Emmanuel Nsabimana, told me through a translator that Pauline ordered him and the others to burn the women. Nsabimana recalled that one Interahamwe complained that they lacked sufficient gasoline. ”Pauline said, ‘Don’t worry, I have jerrycans of gasoline in my car,’ ” Nsabimana recalled. ”She said, ‘Go take that gasoline and kill them.’ I went to the car and took the jerrycans. Then Pauline said, ‘Why don’t you rape them before you kill them?’ But we had been killing all day, and we were tired. We just put the gasoline in bottles and scattered it among the women, then started burning.”

Although Pauline Nyiramasuhuko’s depravity was extreme even for a feminist, it shouldn’t be surprising that the first woman in history to be sentenced to prison for genocide was so keen on the idea of female empowerment before she turned machine guns on innocent people.
In the feminist world, there is a simplistic, black and white narrative of power and victimization. Men are in power, women are victims, and the idea is to turn the tables. Feminists have grown so accustomed to seeing the world in this way that redress of their imagined grievances includes implementing a retributive system whereby former “victims” wield the kind of power they see the patriarchy as having held. Hence human rights abuses against innocent men in the United States are seen as a kind of collective justice by our feminists.
It isn’t much of a stretch for a person who believes in feminist ideology to replace one class of victims/perpetrators with another, in Nyiramasuhuku’s case Hutus/Tutsis. Unfortunately, no matter what form this kind of thinking takes, innocent people are always victimized when it becomes prevalent in society.
On Friday, Rwandans received some measure of justice in the conviction and sentencing of Pauline Nyiramasuhuko; we can only look forward to the day that innocent male victims in the West receive some of the same.

On our second date my girlfriend almost made the waiter cry for taking so long in getting to our table. He apologized over and over again and said they were short staffed and he had double the amount of tables as usual but she didn’t really show much mercy. After she ordered and he left I looked over at her and she kind of laughs and says “wow, I’m such a bitch when I’m hungry, sorry about that.”

Obviously not only when you're hungry apparently..

I had thought she took is ok because she didn’t say anything, she just bent down to pick up her dog’s poop with the plastic bag. Instead of putting it in the bag she used it to grip the wet shit and throw it at me, hitting me in the shirt color and throat. She said nothing else.

So, I’m in a heated argument with my girlfriend where she’s calling me an asshole, a dickhead, every bad name imaginable. I let her vent but it keeps going on and on and one so finally I tell her to quit acting like such a bitch. She flips screaming “what the hell did you just call me?!!!!” I ask her what the problem is now after she just called me every bad name in the book. Her response? ‘I don’t give a shit what I called you, don’t you dare call me a bitch.”

Feminists Destroying Women Because their Own Value is Zero..

The audacity is as astounding as it is stupidly brain numbing. But, unfortunately there are manginas out there who have fallen for the hype just like their mommy told em to. One would have to sell one's soul to the devil just to apply for this nefarious recognition. One would have to commence a course of estrogen injections just to apply. If there are any examples as to what happens to these pussified men one only has to check with this experiment in Sweden. There, back in the early 80's and onwards, the few local wimps decided to be "stay at home" dads to look after the children while the "wife" went out to her daily grind at the office just like feminists told her to do. How did that work out I hear you say ? Well not too well apparently as the women were not overly impressed with the fact that housekeeping is not a full time position and neither is looking after a couple or even one child. Envy reared it's ugly head and the new main income earner got very snooty that the kids preferred the company of dad and he was managing the whole process nicely much to her disgust..

What turned the tide were a couple of issues that arose from this arrangement. Firstly, the day labourer had to pay all the bills and had to use HER money to cover expenses and we already know how tight women are with their money (all those girly things to buy) and this really started to grate and their attitude changed towards what was originally a great feminist concept and one as feminists recommended, it must work because they said it would..

Unfortunately they forgot to tell the women that it was hopeless as it did not cater to the female's need to be catered for, to be held on high as a "special" person (just like everyone else) and that pedestal had disappeared and nothing special was coming her way. In order for him to give her anything special (restaurant, flowers, gifts) he would have to ask her for money and there is nothing more grating for this special individual to have to pay for special treatment to which she felt entitled..

My problem is that I am not sexually attracted to this nicest guy in the world and I feel super guilty about it. I don’t know what’s wrong with me; I feel like a horrible and shallow person by saying this but I am not attracted to his body type. We haven’t had sex, and we rarely kiss when he tries to make out with me (I usually have to force myself when we do). He has asked me on several occasions if I am not attracted to him and I have always lied and said that I am and that I am not ready to have sex, but the truth is I am not ready to have sex with him.

So Weiner had Clayton's Sex. The sex you have when not having sex). So Weiner, being another weirdo liberal, fell for the ultimate pussy scam and paid accordingly.


Needless to say that feminists are busy trying to turn this into some major issue which not only maligns the party that supports feminism the most (so much for loyalty) but see this as another opportunity to blame all men. Testosterone vs. Estrogen: Feminists examine evil and good

The current mentality forwarded today is that feminists don't bash men. That's just something angry males say when faced with the undeniable logic forwarded by the women's movements. If you are a reasonable male and wish to avoid an argument you will keep your eyes forward and just nod in agreement. The first problem with such a statement is that it is seldom placed to scrutiny with how feminists truly act. Second, these kinds of propositions are almost always void of half of humanity's thoughts on the issue. Yep, very few men other than the occasional token male academic feminist get to chime in on the subject.

An example of the common feminist disconnect with reality is seen in ABC's This Week with Christiane Amanpour. During the program Roundtable: Sex and Politics, Amanpour brought together a feminist coven to discuss the after-effects of the Anthony Weiner sexting incident. Strangely enough, the group discussed the good fortune of Weiner's adulterous actions as it was seen as fortuitous to the feminist movement. Considering that Weiner's spouse was victimized by the New York democrat's philandering, this is contradictory enough. But guess why this wife's pain was seen as a feminist gain? Amanpour would lead her all-female roundtable through a discussion of the evils of testosterone and how the Weiner scandal could open new inroads for more females in politics. Here is where many a clear-thinking man and woman will start to really look askew at the feminist mindset.

Roundtable attendee Torie Clarke said that in politics and the public sector women were more honest, sincere and hardworking than men. She added later in the discussion that women do not compete in the negative ways that men do, but instead work to accomplish goals. Wrapped around the Weiner sexting scandal, feminist and roundtable attendee Claire Shipman got down to business and made the first strike on male testosterone as the culprit that leads to risky, and just plain bad business deals. Woman-controlled companies were said to be better profit makers. Additional claims were made that women do not have the same ego problems as men. In short, testosterone was framed as evil while estrogen was stated as being money-making-less-fighting-egoless-sex-scandal-free good stuff! The problem with these statements is that they are so biased and devoid of truth that it is difficult to decide whether to laugh or cry at the audacity of people that would actually share this tripe as intelligent dialogue.

Feminists miss the mark when they attempt to think like socialists and separate men and women into groups as if they have no individualism. This alone is a kind of dehumanization that leads to women's victimization. Of course Clarke's assertion that women are more honest, sincere and hardworking than men is ludicrous and based on nothing more than her desire for the world to be as she wishes it. In fact, women, as equally capable of remarkable accomplishments in society, also have the ability to screw up, just like men. Take the Anthony Weiner incident before the panel. Weiner was no doubt an adulterer and a liar, but the women he cavorted with through cyberspace were not children being stalked, but active, mutually consenting female adults who engaged in sexual phone calls and electronic photo and message swapping. If it takes two to tango it most certainly takes two to Twitter in the Weiner love circle.

Yes, many female public servants in the education field, along with their estrogen, have put the shameful acts of Weiner to shame.

The idea that women don't have ego issues like men, and that they just naturally come together for the purpose of problem-solving is nothing short of stupid. In many cases, the harshest critics of women are other women. The relentless attacks by feminist organizations on females attempting to break the political glass ceiling such as Sarah Palin expose the hypocrisy that overflowed from the Amanpour roundtable. Women, alone or in groups, are often just as strategic, cutthroat and petty as their male counterparts. We don't even need to examine female political figures such as Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer to see this as factual.

The truth is that men and women are individuals with the potential to make smart and dumb decisions, good and evil actions. It is below intelligent discourse to demean men over the phallic falsehood that testosterone is a predictor of indecent conduct. It is as petty and baseless as decreasing the value of women based on the natural occurrence of menstrual cycles. We can be above this kind of thinking. Accountability for men is truly found at the same place it is for women. That is, in the evaluation of the heart, the mind and the soul. These are the critical areas from which public actions, policies and private conduct spring forth. The growth of women in politics as everywhere else will be found in the evaluation of these characteristics and not by attacking men's natural composition.

More inconvenient truths

Short snippets of news filtered through the media this week about the visit by the President of Mongolia to the United States and his meeting with Barack Obama. President Obama apparently received the Genghis Khan Medal from President Elbegdoji. The Mongolian President is of the view the United States, like Mongolia in it’s heyday (13^th Century Genghis Khan era), “has a responsibility to help those who are trying to follow in it’s footsteps.” President Elbegdoji is also of the opinion that just a “few” people were killed to maintain peace, and hunt down terrorists, during the era of the Great Khan — about 40 million or so.
Also this week appeared a wee mention of the rare earth neodymium in an article by London based writer and climate rationalist, Matt Ridley. What, you may wonder, has Genghis Khan’s Mongolia to do with neodymium. Well in the Inconvenient Truth Stakes, actually, quite a bit. You see, neodymium is a key to the manufacture of wind turbines, and Mongolia (Inner and Outer) is the source of much on the world’s supply of neodymium. A large wind turbine can require about 2000kg of neodymium for the production of it’s alloy magnet, the vital component that powers the wind-turbine generator.
What is never mentioned by Bob Brown, Christine Milne and the proponents of so called clean, green energy, is the environmental degradation that is occurring in Mongolia and China as a result of the sudden demand for neodymium by the wind-turbine industry in the West. A demand to satisfy the quest for so called renewable energy. But the big question is — is it “green” and is it “clean”? And indeed, exactly what is the extent of the carbon and environmental footprint of wind turbines as they stomp their away across our landscape and coastlines.
An extraordinarily clear and frank investigation by Simon Parry and Ed Douglas of London’s Daily Mail revealed this year, the dirty, dark secret of the extraction of neodymium in Mongolia and it’s refinement in China. As these two countries hold about 90% of the worlds neodymium, the environmental devastation is confined to a small area that can be easily observed and studied. The Daily Mail’s reporter, Simon Parry went to the western Chinese city of Baotou to have a peek at the beginnings of a clean, green wind turbine magnet.
On approach to Baotou he says; “an old farmer stares despairingly out across an immense lake of bubbling toxic waste covered by black dust. He remembers it as fields of wheat and corn.” The lake is filling with the radio-active slurry from Baotou’s rare earth factories and chemical processing plants. The rare-earth ore has been shipped to Baotou from the Mongolian border regions where it has been extracted from the ground by pumping into the earth, toxic chemicals — the start of the clean, green process. 
According to the Daily Mail:

Hidden out of sight behind smoke-shrouded factory complexes in the city of Bautou, and patrolled by platoons of security guards, lies a five-mile wide ‘tailing’ lake. It has killed farmland for miles around, made thousands of people ill and put one of China’s key waterways in jeopardy. 

This vast hissing cauldron of chemicals is the dumping ground for seven million tons a year of mined rare earth after it has been doused in acid and chemicals and processed through red-hot furnaces to extract it’s components. 

When we finally break through the cordon [security] and climb the sand dunes to reach the brim, an apocalyptic sight greets us: a giant, secret toxic dump, made bigger by every wind turbine we build.
The population of Bautou permanently wear face masks. People claim their hair turns white, their teeth fall out. They suffer from severe skin and respiratory diseases. Children are born with soft bones. Toxicity tests on the lake are kept secret and Chinese officials refuse to acknowledge health risks. Face-masks are sold by the side of the road for passing motorists. Meanwhile the bubbling lake of radio active toxic sludge grows by 3 feet a year. No doubt the last thing on the minds of Green activists, as they paddle down the pristine Gordon and Franklin rivers in Tasmania, is the plight of Baotou and it’s suffering people — talk about wind-turbine dreaming. 
The back-end of the Daily Mail’s Baotou story is heather covered highlands of Scotland and it’s scenic coastline. The clean, green mythology confronts reality. About half of the UK’s wind turbines are in Scotland. Each wind turbine pad there requires 1500 tons of concrete another hated product of fanatical Greens — third only to coal and oil. Then there is the kilometres of service roads for the turbines, which ironically require another by-product of oil — bitumen. Oh dear! Another inconvenient truth the Green lobby ignores in Scotland is the draining of peat moors which are drained to enable turbines to be constructed.
The carbon dioxide involved in concrete, bitumen, steel and copper, to say nothing about the poor critters being cooked in the toxic oven that is Baotou, is conveniently ignored by the high priests of renewable energy.
Under the whacky Renewable Energy scheme in the UK electricity suppliers have to buy a percentage of their energy from renewable generators and are allowed to pass on that cost to households and commercial consumers. Sound familiar? We’re not stupid here in Oz.
Of course issues about the environmental costs and the hypocritical games being played in the madness of Greens renewable energy policies, policies the Australian government has failed to question or examine, are the sort of thing that “our” ABC should be investigating and reporting back to the Australian people. Some chance!
The next time Brown, Milne, Windsor, Gillard, Combet and their fellow travellers start rabbiting on about wind farms, and saving the planet, and renewables—spare a thought for the people of Baotou and the mine-workers of Mongolia. Have a Genghis Khan moment. Think neodymium.
